Wilhelminapark Area (Wilhelminapark apartment)
Situated in the upperclass eastern part of the city you will find the Wilhelminapark area. This eastern part of the city is, for an important part due to the presence of the large city park, a quiet and peacefull area, away from the daily fuzz of the city centre. The city centre however remains within walking distance. In Sharp contrast to the heart of Utrecht’s city centre, this area is perfectly accessible by car, since free parking space can be reached within a five minute walk from the apartment. With a lot of nice bars, restaurants, shops and delicacy stores all facilities one needs are within walking distance as well.
The population in this area exists of mix between higher educated people and student, given the fact that the University Campus, University College and Science Park at the Uithof area are to be found in the area.

Museum Quarter (Canal Apartment Donkere Gaard, City Apartment A+, City Garden Apartments)
The characteristic southern part of the historical city centre is called the Museum Quarter. In the Museum Quarter, several musea are to be found in and around the historical, often monumental buildings. This, combined with several bars, restaurants and several other places to go out, makes it one of the most characteristic and pleasant area’s of Utrecht. You will find that the history of Utrecht is being told by the architectural designs, monuments, canals, numerous squares and landmarks. This area includes Utrecht’s main landmark, the Dom tower, being king of Utrecht’s architectural history book. With this landmark, to be seen from all positions in the city, the centre and your apartment are always pointed out.
Galgenwaard Area (Apollo Residence)
The Galgenwaard area is situated in the eastern part of Utrecht, on the edge of the city. Untill the 1600’s Galghenwert (name of the area during the Middle Ages) was the location where corpses of executed criminals were executed by haning on the gallows (galg in Dutch). The area has been used for agriculture and horticulture for centuries. Nowadays the only thing that can remind one of the dark period of the gallows is the name of the football stadium of the largest footballclub in the area: Stadion Galgenwaard. The area is one of the greenest area’s on the edges of the city, located near the Uithof University Campus, the Wilhelminapark area and more rural area’s like Rijnsweerd , Bunnik and Amerongen and River Kromme Rijn. The city centre is reached within ten minutes by bicycle or public transport.
